Drone Champions League teams up with fan engagement pioneer IQONIQ

28 April 2020 – Drone Champions League and IQONIQ are delighted to announce their new partnership. Starting immediately, the partnership makes IQONIQ, a new all-in-one fan solution, the exclusive and official fan engagement and loyalty platform for the League for the next four years, until the end of the 2024 season.

Drone Champions League (DCL) is the recognised championship for professional drone racing teams – blurring the lines between virtual and reality to serve up a new era of sports entertainment. Established in 2016, the DCL attracts the world’s best drone pilots, who compete on eight international teams across the world. With each race being broadcast live, worldwide on TV and online, the DCL is attracting a growing number of spectators and fans and followers.

IQONIQ is a social media and fan engagement platform focused on the world of sport, which also include the exciting fast growing e-sports sector, and entertainment. By combining the diverse desires of fans into one clear platform, IQONIQ will enable DCL fans to catch all the updates they want with an inside track, offering a range of benefits including games and prizes, a dedicated loyalty programme, exclusive content, and special offers for tickets and merchandise, and much more.

The partnership with DCL is the fourth major partnership announcement for IQONIQ, following on from comparable agreements made with AS Monaco, Olympique de Marseille and EuroLeague Basketball in the past weeks. The IQONIQ app is due to be launched for users in August, with pre-registration now available here.
